It can be taken as a precursor of the new wave of comedies and comic acts which have become a staple of everyday life in urban Lagos with comedians commanding six figure fees for performances, and comic shows an important feature of the cultural calendar in Nigeria, with compact discs and DVDs packaged and marketing their works.
